Altima Grills are currently not in production. While the manufacturer, Sureheat, says that they are not discontinued there is no word when they will be in production again.Many grills in this price range use large, powerful burners giving you only a few cooking zones. The Altima 48-Inch gas grill has six cooking zones including one, very powerful infrared sear zone. With optional charcoal trays that drop in, under the cooking grates you can set up a charcoal zone as well giving you a wide range of cooking abilities all at once. Add in a full function rotisserie system and this grill will do it all.
The feature that makes Altima gas grills really stand out is the firebox. Altima grills have a fire brick lined firebox giving this grill the cooking characteristics of a brick oven. This grill has a high, incredibly even heat. So from searing steaks for cooking pizzas to roasting chickens, this grill will cook it all, and at the same time.
The one falling down point with this grill really is the limited burners. Most grills in this price range use a heavier, more durable burner, but the stainless steel tubular burners on this grill are very similar to those on much less expensive grills.
