Vermont Castings Marvel VSC6005 Gas Grill Review
Vermont Castings Marvel VSC6005 Gas Grill Review. This is a solidly built grill with heavy cast iron and stainless steel body parts, though lower quality stainless steel. The 75,000 BTU output from six stainless steel burners is enough to heat the 750 square inches of primary grilling area. This unit also comes with two 15,000 BTU side burners and 20,000 BTU rear mounted rotisserie burner. The attractive design and heavy components make this a great grill that will last for many years.

Vermont Castings VCS3506 Signature Series Gas Grill

The 37,500 BTU output from three stainless steel burners is enough to heat the 400 square inches of primary grilling area. This unit has optional features like side burner or rotisserie. The attractive design and heavy components make this a great grill that will last for many years. This powerful and solid grill can handle almost any grilling task. While this grill uses lower quality stainless steel, it is thick.
Vermont Castings 48,000 BTU Gas Grill Review (Model VM450SSP)
Vermont Castings 48,000 BTU Gas Grill Review (Model VM450SSP). This cast iron and stainless steel grill packs the power with four 12,000 BTU main burners and an infrared rotisserie burner. The heavy cast iron construction (fully coated) provides great heat characteristics. The stainless steel components make it look good.
Vermont Castings VCS4006 Signature Series Gas Grill
This is a solidly built grill with heavy cast iron and enameled steel body parts. The 50,000 BTU output from four stainless steel burners is enough to heat the 450 square inches of primary grilling area. While the rotisserie is optional this unit has a 15,000 BTU side burner. The attractive design and heavy components make this a great grill that will last for many years. This powerful and solid grill can handle almost any grilling task. This grill uses lower quality stainless steel.
Vermont Castings Extreme VCS5005 Gas Grill Review
Vermont Castings Extreme VCS5005 Gas Grill Review. This is a solidly built grill with heavy cast iron and stainless steel body parts. The 60,500 BTU output from four stainless steel burners is enough to heat the 600 square inches of primary grilling area. This unit also comes with a 15,000 BTU side burner and 20,000 BTU rear mounted rotisserie burner. The attractive design and heavy components make this a great grill that will last for many years. It has a lite control panel and cooking light.
Vermont Castings 60,000 BTU Gas Grill Review (Model VM600BSP)
Vermont Castings 60,000 BTU Gas Grill Review (Model VM600BSP). This is a solidly built grill with heavy cast iron and stainless steel body parts. The 60,000 BTU output from five stainless steel burners is enough to heat the 600 square inches of primary grilling area. This unit also comes with a 15,000 BTU side burner and a 20,000 BTU rear mounted infrared rotisserie burner.
Vermont Castings Premium 36,000 BTU Gas Grill Review
Vermont Castings Premium 36,000 BTU Gas Grill Review. This is one of those grills that sits in the back of the showroom floor. It is not flashy or attractive and the design is primitive. However, for the price the internal components are very good. The stainless steel burners are heavy gauge and durable. The heavy cast iron construction holds and distributes heat giving this grill very good heat qualities.
Char-Broil Performance Series 480 Gas Grill
Char-Broil Performance Series 480 Gas Grill Review. This unit comes with some stainless steel parts or not. To look at the unit it is actually pretty attractive but on closer inspection this is a very cheap grill with all the money spent on what you'll see and not what you'll get.
Char-Broil Commercial Series 50,000 BTU Gas Grill (model #463268706) at Lowes
This is one gas grill with everything to make it look great; Brass burners, stainless steel construction, four-burner design, high BTU output, and a flush mounted side burner unit. Unfortunately is is far more appearance than substance. This Char-Broil gas grill uses low quality stainless steel, instead of cast brass burners it has brass tube burners and the overall construction is weak. Like many Char-Broil grills it looks good on the showroom floor, but won't last.
Kenmore Premium 882 Square Inch Gas Grill
Kenmore Premium 882 Square Inch Gas Grill. With the exception of the side burner this grill offers little else in the way of features. The 60,000 BTUs of its main burners seems like a lot, but the large size makes this a little weak. Most of the grill is 304 stainless steel but components like the barriers are simply porcelain coated steel. The appearance is good but the overall quality of the construction is weak. At around $800 this should be a better grill.
Kirkland Grand Classic Gas Grill with Oven
This is a big and shiny gas grill built by Nexgrill for Costco and sold under the name Kirkland. At nearly $1,900 this grill has a lot of features including two good quality cast brass side burners, a full rotisserie set including infrared burner and an oven. However, as impressive as it looks the over all construction is weak and I've had complaints about assembly problems and the overall quality of the grill. My concern with this grill is the complexity of the manual and the wiring of the oven
Patio Classic 3-Burner Gas Grill
This is a very basic grill. Three burners with good, even heat output and nothing else. Even the front cart cover is a fabric piece. What you get is a quality grill that will cook well, and, if taken care of, last for several years. You will need to take care of this grill due to the heavy cast iron cooking grates and burners. This is an old style gas grill with ceramic briquettes to distribute heat and burn off grease.
Uniflame 36,000 BTU Gas Grill
You'd think that at about $170USD this would be a pretty good grill for the money. You'd be wrong. This grill doesn't cut back in a few areas, it cuts back in all of them. The cooking grates are hardly strong enough to hold up a lot of food. The three part sectional burner promises to make the entire grill useless at the first sign of trouble. This simply isn't a grill worth buying, even at this price. It would have made more sense to take out the side burner in favor of a better burner.
Sears Kenmore 3-Burner Gas Grill (Model #16220) by Char-Broil
This Kenmore gas grill by Char-Broil is typical of the low end, mass-market gas grills. Poor quality components with poor quality construction. It's "sear" burner feature is a joke and the one feature that works is it's Sear's support, because they will get you replacement parts for as long as the warranty lasts, which isn't long. This is a grill with useless features, bad cooking abilities and nothing to make you want to actually own it. Definately a grill to avoid.
Grill Pro Stainless Steel Gas Grill
In the field of stainless steel gas grills this unit is pretty average. A full feature gas grill sold through Ace Hardware for about $400USD. They get this price by using low quality components, low grade stainless steel and Chinese manufacturing. While this grill has everything you'd want in a gas grill, including side burner and infrared rotisserie burner, it doesn't have the quality construction or quality parts that will make it last. What you get is a grill to avoid.
Fiesta 35,000 BTU Gas Grill from Home Depot - Gas Grill Review - Home Depot
At around $200USD this is one of the better grills on the market for the price. However, that isn't saying much. While Fiesta grills are typically better than similarly priced grills they have dumbed down their products recently. This unit has basic steel burners and a lightweight wire cooking grate. There are not extras on this grill and the durability is questionable. Of course at this price you shouldn't expect much. The one major problem with this grill is it's flare-ups.
Member's Mark 32-Inch Stainless Steel Gas Grill
At around $600 this isn't a bad stainless steel gas grill. The 304 stainless steel will last and retain its appearance for a long time though it is thin. Of all the Chinese manufacturers, Grand Hall (who makes this unit) probably has the best reputation. The heat output is good and even giving you good grilling abilities and short preheat times. This is a full feature grill with side burner, rotisserie system (including rear mounted infrared rotisserie burner, and even a cover included.
Char-Broil Commercial Series 64,000 BTU Gas Grill at Lowe's Review
Char-Broil Commercial Series 64,000 BTU Gas Grill at Lowe's Review. This grill has the perfect solution to the number one problem of gas grills; life-time warranted cast brass burners. Of course these are made form low quality brass, but if they go bad, you get a new set. The burners are designed with a tent like top to keep drippings off the ports so this grill has no barrier and hence no way of distributing the heat.
Char-Broil Performance Series 360 Gas Grill Review
Char-Broil Performance Series 360 Gas Grill Review. A quick look and you'd think this wasn't a bad gas grill. The heat output is good for the size and the unit looks well built for the size. Dig deeper and you'll find the cheapest burners on the market. Until now I didn't know stainless steel came in foil. The stamped steel cooking grates hold virtually no heat and the overall construction is bad. The pop rivets and screws that hold this grill together quickly rust.
Char-Broil Advantage PerfectHeat 45,000 3-Burner BTU Gas Grill Review
Char-Broil Advantage PerfectHeat 45,000 3-Burner BTU Gas Grill Review. This is probably one of the better of the Char-Broil grills. The burners and cooking grates are above average for the price (about $270) but the porcelain coatings are weak and may chip and crack over time. While the heat output of this grill isn't bad it could be better.
Brinkmann Pro Series 4040 45,000 BTU 3-burner Gas Grill Review
Brinkmann Pro Series 4040 45,000 BTU 3-burner Gas Grill Review. This grill retails around $400 and is distributed through Walmart stores. The poor cart construction make the grill a little unstable and there has been several problems with assembly of these grills. The grill is designed to look like nice stainless steel grill. Unfortunately the stainless steel used is prone to staining and rust. The side burner is cast iron and will need to be taken care of to prevent rusting.
Brinkmann Pro Series 2310 Gas Grill
This grill is designed to give you a large grill with a stainless steel appearance for a low price. Unfortunately for its size it is under powered when it comes to BTU output. The overall construction isn't all that great either. I have to put this grill in the "you get what you pay for" category. At around $400USD you should get a better grill than this. What this Brinkmann has is some extra dressing to make it appear better. This is a basic grill in a world flooded with similar products.
Brinkmann Pro Series 4345 45,000 BTU 3-burner Gas Grill Review
Brinkmann Pro Series 4345 45,000 BTU 3-burner Gas Grill Review. This grill retails around $200 and is distributed through Walmart stores. The poor cart construction make the grill a little unstable and there has been several problems with assembly of these grills. The grill is designed to look like a Weber with some stainless steel body parts, but those parts have poor quality steel and do little to make the grill better. The cast iron burners require cleaning to keep them from turning to rust.
Brinkmann Pro Series 2250 Gas Grill
This grill is designed to give you a very large grill for a low price. Unfortunately for its size it is under powered when it comes to BTU output. The overall construction isn't all that great either. I have to put this grill in the "you get what you pay for" category. However at a price under $250 it isn't that bad of a deal for a three burner gas grill with side burner. Just don't expect it to last long or grill well.
Sears Kenmore 3-Burner Gas Grill (Model #16234) by Char-Broil
Sears Kenmore 3-Burner Gas Grill (Model #16234) by Char-Broil. This is a grill with useless features, bad cooking abilities and nothing to make you want it.
Kirkland Signature Stainless Steel 4-burner Gas Grill
This grill really looks nice. The stainless steel is nicely polished and the unit is large (there is a larger one for about $1,000). There is a lot of cooking space, a side burner, infrared searing burner, full rotisserie with rear mounted infrared rotisserie burner and even a cover. This is another Chinese imported stainless steel grill that looks great and provides a lot of features. The grill is built from 304 stainless steel, but the barrier and burners are light weight and thin.
BBQ Pro Beveled Gas Grill
This is a large, well styled grill. The heat output is a little low for the size but probably not a problem. The grill has a large tank enclosed tank storage area and two drawers in a unique design. Made from painted steel and cast aluminum the main selling point of this grill is its appearance, largely because its function is pretty basic for a grill costing around $450USD (look for it on sale). While appearance is important the overall durability of this grill is limited.
Glen Canyon 48,000 BTU Stainless-Steel Gas Grill
Glen Canyon 48,000 BTU Stainless-Steel Gas Grill. When Home Depot introduced this $1,200 USD gas grill in its Expo stores it was an immediate success. Now it is being offered through some Home Depot stores and available through special order. This Nexgrill manufactured stainless steel gas grill offers all the features and a very large cooking area. What is has in appearance, however is made up for by limited construction quality, low BTU output and a highly vented cooking chamber.
DCS 27" Professional Outdoor Gas Grill
This is like a subcompact Ferrari. The smallest of the DCS (Dynamic Cooking Systems) grills, but at about 500 square inches of primary grilling space it's not that small. The attention to detail and superior construction make this one of the best grills on the market. You really can't go wrong with this one and it's really hard to think of anything bad to say about it other than that this is a stripped down basic model of this grill line.
Igloo 60,000-BTU 4-Burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review
Igloo 60,000-BTU 4-Burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review. This is another grill built to cash in on the popularity of stainless steel grills. Unfortunately, only a few parts of this grill (the lid and cooking grates) are made of quality stainless steel. While this unit had cast brass burners, individual ignitors, and a good BTU output, the construction is weak. This grill is pop-riveted and bolted together. This grill isn't made by Igloo, it's imported under their name.
Kirkland Grand Classic Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review
Kirkland Grand Classic Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review. This is a big and shiny gas grill built by Nexgrill for Costco and sold under the name Kirkland. At nearly $1,300 this grill has a lot of features including two side burners that have good quality cast brass burners. It also comes with a full rotisserie set including infrared burner. However, as impressive as it looks the over all construction is weak and I've had complaints about assembly problems and the overall quality of the grill.
Star 48-Inch Combo Professional Gas Grill Review
Star 48-Inch Combo Professional Gas Grill Review. This is the gas grill that is the outdoor cooking appliance. Professionally made by people who know cooking equipment, this grill gives you everything you need including a powerful light, built in digital meat thermometer and timer. The rotisserie can spin 60 pounds and is all internal so you have nothing sticking out to breakdown or get in the way. You also get a standard infrared sear zone burner for the perfect steak.
Member's Mark 39-Inch Professional Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review
Member's Mark 39-Inch Professional Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review. At around $800 this isn't that bad of a stainless steel gas grill. Of all the Chinese manufacturers, Grand Hall (who makes this unit) probably have the best reputation. While this grill is short on the BTUs, that is made up for with a 12,000 BTU infrared sear burner that gives you the searing power that this grill can't otherwise provide. I have heard reports from people getting this grill for less money (on sale).
Kenmore Elite 644 Square Inch Gas Grill Review
Kenmore Elite 644 Square Inch Gas Grill Review. This Kenmore grill made by Grand Hall looks pretty and seems big, but with a primary cooking area of about 470 square inches and only four 11,000 BTU burners its actually pretty small for the $1,500 price tag. Of course this unit seems to be on sale a lot. The grill comes with a rear monuted rotisserie burner, but the rotisserie kit is optional ($50.00).
Kirkland Signature Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review
Kirkland Signature Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review. This is a nice, shiny gas grill built by Nexgrill for Costco and sold under the name Kirkland. At nearly $1,000 this grill has a lot of features including a side burners that has a good quality cast brass burner. It also comes with a full rotisserie set including infrared burner. However, as impressive as it looks the over all construction is weak and I've had complaints about assembly problems and the overall quality of the grill.
BBQ Pro 22-inch Combo Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review
BBQ Pro 22-inch Combo Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review. This isn't that bad of a grill for the price. The overall construction is weak, but the mixture of cast aluminum and 304 stainless steel means this grill should be able to retain its appearance for a few years. The burners, both side and main are low quality and probably won't last so keep your receipts because you'll probably need replacement parts. This grill sells around $300 but look for it on sale.
Amana Premium 33-Inch Gas Grill by SureHeat (Target Version)
Amana Premium 33-Inch Gas Grill by SureHeat. This Amana is made by SureHeat for Target stores. It represents another low quality stainless steel gas grill for the mass market. On paper it looks good with high BTU output and all the features you want for a gas grill at a retail price around $550 this may seem like a good deal, but the pop-rivet construction and heavy use of inferior 430 stainless steel this isn't a grill you want. There are many better units on the market for this price.
Amana Premium 30-Inch Gas Grill by SureHeat
This Amana is made by SureHeat for Target stores. It represents another low quality stainless steel gas grill for the mass market. On paper it looks good with high BTU output and most the features you want for a gas grill at a retail price around $400USD this may seem like a good deal, but the pop-rivet construction and heavy use of inferior 430 stainless steel this isn't a grill you want. There are many better units on the market for this price.
Broilking Imperial 70 Gas Grill Review
Broilking Imperial 70 Gas Grill Review. If you are serious about grilling and want a grill that delivers both high, even heat and gives you a lot of control, then this is a great grill for you. It might not look modern but Broil King has been making great grills for years. This model will give you wide versatility, including a full rotisserie kit with rear mounted back burner. The details in this grill like the control valves and the three position cooking grates, make it great for grilling.
Ducane 455 Inch Gas Grill Review
Ducane 455 Inch Gas Grill Review. The only thing I can find that Weber did to Ducane after they bought the company in 2004 was to lower the price on these grills. This was a good unit at nearly $1,000. It's a great grill for around $600. While this grill won't stand out in a line up it has great cooking abilities because of the compact internal design with high end stainless steel parts and great heat generation.
Weber Genesis Silver B
All around this is the best grill on the market for it's price. Take care of it and a Weber Gas Grill will last you for decades and give you the versatility you need to grill most anything you can think of. The high quality parts, particularly the stainless steel burners will need an occasional cleaning, but will last you long enough to pass it on to your kids.
Weber Summit Platinum D6 Gas Grill Review
Weber Summit Platinum D6 Gas Grill Review. Quite possible the best of the mass market grills on the market. The Summit Platinum D6 is the largest of the Weber line of gas grills. Weber is kow for quality products and excellent support. This is a great grill for a person who has $2,200 and doesn't want to worry. The high quality stainless steel construction lets this grill compete with much more expensive grills, but the relatively low BTUs for a grill this size keeps it from being perfect.
Weber Summit Gold D6 Gas Grill Review
Weber Summit Gold D6 Gas Grill Review. This is the Best of the Weber Summit line of gas grills. You get all the features including a side burner and full rotisserie system with rear mounted infrared burner, and you get it for $300 less than the Platinum D6 version that is basically a cosmetic upgrade. However, at $1,900 MSRP (as low as $1,500 on sale) you are paying a good price for this grill.
Weber Genesis Silver C Gas Grill Review
Weber Genesis Silver C Gas Grill Review. As they say nothing grills like a Weber. This is the lowest priced Weber that has a side burner. The real advantage of the "C" of the other two Genesis Silver Grills is a larger cart with more storage space and work areas. It's really hard to go wrong with a weber and even at a price ow well over $500 this is a great grill.
Weber Genesis Platinum B Gas Grill Review
Weber Genesis Platinum B Gas Grill Review. All around this is one of the best gas grills on the market for it's price. Take care of it and a Weber Gas Grill will last you for many years and give you the versatility you want to grill most anything you can think of. The high quality parts, particularly the stainless steel burners will need an occasional cleaning, but will last you long enough to pass it on to your kids. People who own Weber grills swear by them and always buy Weber.
Weber Genesis Gold B
All around this is one of the best gas grills on the market for it's price. Take care of it and a Weber Gas Grill will last you for decades and give you the versatility you want to grill most anything you can think of. The high quality parts, particularly the stainless steel burners will need an occasional cleaning, but will last you long enough to pass it on to your kids.
Weber Genesis Silver A - Gas Grill Review
Weber Genesis Silver A Gas Grill Review. Smaller than many grills this Weber still delivers, just not a big meal. If you are in the market for a quality grill that's not too big then this might be the unit for you.
Perfect Flame 5-Burner 60,000 BTU (model #14103) Gas Grill Review
Perfect Flame 5-Burner 60,000 BTU (model #14103) Gas Grill Review. This is a big, powerful grill. With a total cooking area well over 700 square inches and 60,000 BTUs of heat output you get a grill that won't have any trouble heating up and cooking. The combination of cast aluminum and stainless steel body help hold down the cost, brining this grill in around $400USD. The side burner is a nice feature. This grill does not include a rotisserie burner or rotisserie system.
Charmglow 4-Burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review
Charmglow 4-Burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review. This mid-sized version of the Charmglow Gas Grill from Home Depot has four burners, more BTUs and more space, than last years model, but isn't any better in quality. This unit is designed to catch the eye and look impressive and with 4 burners and plenty cooking space it does that. Unfortunately, cooking capabilities, durability and usability was a secondary consideration.
Sureheat Sonoma Platinum Edition Gas Grill Review
Sureheat Sonoma Platinum Edition Gas Grill Review. The updated version of the Sonoma Grill sold through Costco is a little smaller (450 square inches verses 480) and has lost it's complete rotisserie system. The price is the same but you get less grill. What made last years model good was that you got a full feature grill for $500. Now you don't. This Costco exclusive grill is a small sized 304 stainless steel grill for a good price.
Charmglow 5-Burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review
Charmglow 5-Burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill by Nexgrill Review. This bigger version of the Charmglow Gas Grill from Home Depot has more burners, more BTUs and more space, but it isn't any better in quality. Like many of the Nexgrill made gas grills, this unit is designed to catch the eye and look impressive. With 5 burners and lots of cooking space it does that. Unfortunately, cooking capabilities, durability and usability was a secondary consideration.
Perfect Flame 4-Burner 48,000 BTU (model #13133) Gas Grill Review
Perfect Flame 4-Burner 48,000 BTU (model #13133) Gas Grill Review. This is a big, powerful grill. With a total cooking area well over 500 square inches and 48,000 BTUs of heat output you get a grill that won't have any trouble heating up and cooking. The combination of cast aluminum and stainless steel body help hold down the cost, brining this grill in around $300USD. The side burner is a nice feature. This grill does not include a rotisserie burner or rotisserie system.
Perfect Flame 3-Burner 55,500 BTU (model #192430) Gas Grill Review
Perfect Flame 3-Burner 55,500 BTU (model #192430) Gas Grill Review. This is another Lowe's Store Brand gas grill with complete stainless steel construction and all the standard features including side burner and rotisserie burner with full kit. At $549USD this is a grill that promises a lot but is limited by poor quality stainless steel and limited construction quality. Basically a grill that looks great on the floor, but may not look to good down the road.
Perfect Flame Four Burner 52,000 BTU Gas Grill (25586) Review
Perfect Flame Four Burner 52,000 BTU Gas Grill (25586) Review. This is two grills in one. Each side is a completely seperate grill with two 13,000 BTU burners. While this gives you the flexability of grilling two completely different things, including a rotisserie chicken on one side and burners on the other, it might be a nuisance for large cookout. That is something you need to decide. This is a Lowe's store brand grill made by the same people who make the BBQ Grillware products.
Ironware Series Gas Grill
This gas grill was designed to last by people who got feed up with cheap grill parts. The cast brass burners and stainless steel internal components make this grill one of the better in the under $500 price range.
Thermos Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review
Thermos Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review. This Thermos grill is made by Char-Broil for Target stores. Thermos had nothing to do with it. The main selling point of this grill is the nearly complete stainless steel construction and it's high BTU output for the size. On the other hand the materials used to make this grill are low quality, from the 400 series stainless steel to the weak cast iron burners.
Weber Genesis Gold C Gas Grill Review
Weber Genesis Gold C Gas Grill Review. All around this is one of the best gas grills on the market for it's price. Take care of it and a Weber Gas Grill will last you for a decade and give you the versatility you want to grill most anything you can think of. The high quality parts, particularly the stainless steel burners will need an occasional cleaning, but will last you long enough to pass it on to your kids. People who own Weber grills swear by them and always buy Weber.
Weber Genesis Platinum C Gas Grill Review

The high quality parts, particularly the stainless steel burners will need an occasional cleaning, but will last you long enough to pass it on to your kids. People who own Weber grills swear by them and always buy Weber.
Weber Summit Gold A4 Gas Grill Review
Weber Summit Gold A4 Gas Grill Review. This is quite possible the best of the mass market grills on the market. To move up in quality and appearance you'll end up spending a lot more money. However at $1,100 for a basic model you can find grills that cook as well for less. Of course, they wouldn't be a Weber. Weber provides an excellent warranty and great support so you'll get a good 10 years out of this grill one way or the other.
Uniflame Patriot Gas Grill Review
Uniflame Patriot Gas Grill Review - Three stainless steel burners for 30,000 BTUs and a 10,000 BTU side burner. This grill includes 400 square inches of primary cooking area, electronic ignition and a porcelain barrier plate. This is a good grill for the price (around $200) with mixture of stainless steel and cast aluminum.
Jenn-Air 52,000 BTU (model #720-0164) Gas Grill Review
Jenn-Air 52,000 BTU (model #720-0164) Gas Grill Review.
Jenn-Air 45,000 BTU (model# 720-0163) Gas Grill Review
Jenn-Air 45,000 BTU (model# 720-0163) Gas Grill Review. For 2006 this unit has been redesigned to address issues of low heat output, bad casters and assembly problems. The price has increased to $699USD, but still a very low price for a full feature stainless steel gas grill. The emphasis on delivering a full function, all stainless steel gas grill has limited the overall construction quality. While this is a good grill for a good price, you do get what you pay for.
BBQ Grillware 42,000 BTU Gas Grill Review
BBQ Grillware 42,000 BTU Gas Grill Review. All in all this isn't a bad gas grill. The high BTU output is great for the size and for around $200 you get a functional grill and side burner. I would have rather seen the few low quality stainless steel parts eliminated in favor of better quality components, but if you are not expecting a lot from this grill in the way of durability and long term appearance you might want to look at it.
Ducane 864 Inch Gas Grill Review
Ducane 864 Inch Gas Grill. The only thing I can find that Weber did to Ducane after they bought the company in 2004 was to lower the price on these grills. The 864 represents a great grill that doesn't come with a lot of extras. This grill won't stand out in a line up it has great cooking abilities because of the compact internal design with high end stainless steel parts. This is the grill for people who like to grill, not the people who want to decorate their patio.
Ducane 688 Inch Gas Grill Review
Ducane 688 Inch Gas Grill Review. The only thing I can find that Weber did to Ducane after they bought the company in 2004 was to lower the price on these grills. The 688 represents a great grill that doesn't come with a lot of extras. This grill won't stand out in a line up it has great cooking abilities because of the compact internal design with high end stainless steel parts. This is the grill for people who like to grill, not the people who want to decorate their patio.
Ducane 436 Inch Gas Grill Review
Ducane 436 Inch Gas Grill Review. The Ducane 436 represents the smallest and least expensive of the new Ducane line of grills. This two burner unit has durable, quality components and great cooking characteristics. While the design isn't exactly great, this grill was designed to cook. The new Ducanes are built the same as the old Ducanes but at a lower price. This grill is one of the best grills on the market for the price.
Ducane 545-Inch Gas Grill Review
Ducane 545-Inch Gas Grill Review. The Ducane design hasn't changed much in the last few decades, but this grill really cooks. It was never design to be attractive so it appears primative next to todays grills, but you can not deny it's grilling power. Now that Ducane is owned by Weber the price has come down, but they are still made by the same people.
Charmglow Gas Grill by Brinkmann
Charmglow Gas Grill by Brinkmann Review. This grill is the partner to the Charmglow Stainless Steel Gas Grill by Nexgrill. It's about $50 less than the Nexgrill but is actually a better unit. It is largely aluminum, not stainless steel, but has better components provided you take good care of the porcelain coatings on the burners, grates and internal body.
Charmglow Stainless Steel Gas Grill by Nexgrill
Charmglow Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review. This all stainless steel grill, available only at Hone Depot is designed to give you a moderate sized grill with three 12,000 BTU burners. This is one one of the least expensive stainless steel grills on the market. While low in power it does come standard with a 12,000 BTU side burner and closed cabinet design.
Thermos Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review
Thermos Stainless Steel Gas Grill Review - First of all, Thermos doesn't make gas grills, they never have. This is Char-Broil's Terrace Stainless Steel Grill, and last years model at that. This is why the price is so low. This gas grill is a mix of good and bad parts. While the burners and stainless steel will last the cheap pop-rivets that hold it together rust almost immediately. This grill is also a little low on the BTUs.
Vermont Castings Signature Series VCS5006 Gas Grill
This is a solidly built grill with heavy cast iron and stainless steel body parts. The 60,500 BTU output from four stainless steel burners is enough to heat the 600 square inches of primary grilling area. This unit also comes with a 15,000 BTU side burner and 20,000 BTU rear mounted rotisserie burner. The attractive design and heavy components make this a great grill that will last for many years. It even has a backlite control panel and cooking light.
